Courses in MSc Mechanical Engineering / Track Control Engineering

The MSc program Mechanical Engineering contains several courses provided in the MSc program systems and control, both in the compulsory as in the elective part of the program. The specific requirements depend on the MSc track chosen. For the MSc track ME-CE (Control Engineering) all compulsory courses are from this program.  For details on the ME-CE track see

MSc Thesis project within Mechanical Engineering

Students following the MSc track ME-CE (Control Engineering) will generally do their Thesis project within the Delft Center of Systes and Control. DCSC keeps a list with current open "thesis subjects", but students are welcome to submit their own suggestions. Have a look at our list of active MSc students.

Pre-masters programs

Students with a (HBO) Bachelor degree may be admitted to the MSc Mechanical Engineering. A pre-Masters program of 30 ECs needs to be completed before the candidate is formally admitted. For details see
