Modeling and Control of Hybrid Systems

Examination:

The assessment for this course consists of a written exam (counts for 60% of the final marks) and an assignment (counts for 40% of the final marks).

The subject of the written exam will be Chapters 1, 2, 6 of the lecture notes, the slides for Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 7.
For the chapters and slides your knowledge should be functional (i.e. you should be able to explain concepts such as hybrid automaton, guard, PWA system, sliding mode control, etc. in your own words, and understand issues such as computational complexity and tractability).
The written discussion is "closed-book", so the lecture notes and slides can then not be used.

For the assignment you will be graded based on your report on the assignment and in principle all members of the same group get the same grade.
