Examination:

The written examination (on the material of Chapters 1-13, "closed-book", no calculators allowed!) will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2010, 9.00-12.00

Registration should be done via Osiris.

The exam of the course consists of a written exam on the theory and a practical assigment. The final grade is determined on the basis of the grade for the examination on the theory (which counts for 60 %) and the grade for the practical assigment (which counts for 40 %).

Examination material: Lecture notes.
Note that this material cannot be used during the examination (i.e., it is a "closed-book" examination; moreover, no calculators are allowed).

Please feel free to solve these questions and to hand in your results to the lecturers for correction and feedback.
Note that we also ask some small questions on the theory of the lecture notes.
