I am Marco Forgione, Ph.D. candidate at Delft University of Technology in the
Delft Center for Systems and Control (DCSC) department.
I was born in Varese, Italy in 1986 and
I got my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2007 from the University of Pavia.
In 2009 I got my Master's degree in Computer Engineering with focus on Automation from the same university.
Afterwards, I moved to The Netherlands to start my Ph.D.

The focus of my Ph.D project is on identification and control strategies suitable for industrial batch processes such as
crystallization. In particular I am interested in

- Batch-to batch Identification & Optimization
- Experiment Design
